Atletico Madrid close in on strike pairing?

Reports in Spain claim that Jackson Martinez and Luciano Vietto are close to completing their respective moves to Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly on the verge of signing two new strikers.

According to Spanish publication Marca, Porto's Jackson Martinez has rejected a move to AC Milan in favour of linking up with Diego Simeone's men.

The Colombia international has scored 92 goals from his 132 appearances for the Portuguese club.

Meanwhile, Villarreal president Fernando Roig has revealed that Argentine Luciano Vietto has agreed a move to the Vicente Calderon.

"[Vietto] has been sold to Atletico," AS quotes Roig as saying.

The 21-year-old found the net on 20 occasions for the Yellow Submarine last term.
