Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has revealed that he is "doing everything" in order to ensure that he is part of the Spain squad for the World Cup next summer.
The 21-year-old, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks, is widely expected to travel with La Roja next year as they defend their title.
"I am doing everything to get to Brazil," he told the club's official website.
"Who would not want to go to the World Cup? But rest assured, the season is long and I am focused on doing well for Atleti.
"This year's been a great one for us. To win the Copa del Rey and beat Real Madrid – that was great. It was like a weight off our shoulders."
Koke has seven Spanish caps to his name.
