Barcelona defender Jordi Alba feels that comparisons between Neymar and Lionel Messi shouldn't be made.
The full-back admits that the Santos forward is a special player but thinks that his teammate could go down as the greatest footballer to ever play the game.
"[Neymar's] a brilliant player and in Brazil he's showing he is a class above but Messi is number one and maybe even the best in history," Alba told AS.
"I don't know whether he will come here or not. The technical team and the board will make reinforcements where they feel they need to be made. Personally, the team looks fine to me. Let's hope we win more silverware next year."
Alba was signed from Valencia last summer.
