Barcelona are reportedly afraid of Paris Saint-Germain targeting one of their first-team stars after beating the French champions to Frenkie de Jong's signature.
The long-running saga involving the Netherlands international came to a conclusion on Wednesday after he put pen to paper with Barca on a five-year contract that kicks in at the end of the season.
PSG, along with Manchester City and Juventus, are also believed to have been in the running for the 21-year-old.
Spanish outlet AS claims that Barca are now wary of retaliation from the Parisians, as a number of their players have release clauses that can be triggered.
Barcelona are said to be particularly worried about losing forward Ousmane Dembele, who can be purchased for £346m, while Philippe Coutinho's contract can be bought out for the same figure.
A separate report suggests that Lionel Messi played a big part in De Jong's decision to join the Catalan club.
