Barcelona have reportedly decided that they are willing to part ways with midfielder Ivan Rakitic should they complete the signing of Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
During the closing weeks of the summer window, Barca were denied in their attempts to sign the Brazilian, with Liverpool insisting that their star man was not for sale.
The Catalan giants are expected to return with another bid in January, and it appears that could have ramifications for one of the club's first-team players.
According to Diario Gol, the Croatian international may be sold if Barca received an acceptable offer for his signature, with Juventus said to be monitoring the situation.
Rakitic has already made 18 appearances in La Liga and the Champions League during the current campaign, while the 29-year-old only penned a new long-term contract earlier this year.
