Barcelona manager Xavi is reportedly open to parting ways with as many as nine players during the summer transfer window.
Despite the club's financial constraints, Xavi was able to sign the likes of Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the midway point of the season.
While the Catalan giants may have more freedom to bring in fresh faces later in 2022, Xavi has acknowledged that the club's well-documented issues prevented them from being a top contender in the race to sign Erling Braut Haaland.
According to Marca, Xavi wants to raise additional transfer funds with some high-profile sales, with Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay potentially departing for the right price.
The report claims that Neto, Clement Lenglet, Sergino Dest, Oscar Mingueza, Samuel Umtiti, Riqui Puig and Martin Braithwaite are all available for transfer.
The plan for a significant overhaul comes with Barcelona never being a factor in the La Liga title race, although it is worth noting that Barcelona have collected six more points than any other Spanish side since the start of 2022.
