The Football Association is reportedly interested in offering Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola the chance to replace Roy Hodgson as England manager.

Guardiola - who has been in charge of the Bundesliga champions since 2013 - has won 19 trophies as a head coach at Barcelona and Bayern, including five league wins and two Champions League titles.

The 44-year-old, who also won 16 trophies as a Barca player, has won 294 of his 405 matches in management.

According to The Sun, the FA will tempt Guardiola to take the England job with a salary of £10m a year.

Hodgson's contract with the FA is due to expire following next year's European Championships.
