Ian Holloway shocked by 1-0 defeat to Blackpool

Millwall manager Ian Holloway says that the Lions should not have lost to Blackpool in their Championship match on Tuesday evening.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway has revealed that he "can't believe" that his side lost 1-0 to Blackpool on Tuesday evening.

A Ricardo Fuller header in the 14th minute proved to be enough to settle the match, but the Lions hit the crossbar and Steve Morison missed a penalty.

"I still can't believe we've lost the game. When you create as many chances as we did, you shouldn't lose the game," Holloway told reporters.

"I really liked what I saw at the start. We hit the bar in the first few minutes and it looked like a matter of time before we were going to score."

Millwall are 21st in the Championship table.
