Blackpool manager Paul Ince has claimed that the summer transfer window should close before the start of the season.
The 45-year-old is among a number of bosses in England, including Everton's Roberto Martinez and Newcastle United's Alan Pardew, who believe that the current format is disruptive for players.
"The transfer window is always hard," Ince told the Blackpool Gazette. "All the chaos needs to be done before the season to stop all this madness.
"I think it's unfair on players as they are expected to make a decision on going to a new club in a matter of hours. It simply needs to be done before the season starts."
Blackpool are currently at the top of the Championship table.
