Bournemouth reject Norwich City bid for Steve Cook?

Bournemouth turn down an approach from Norwich City for defender Steve Cook, according to a report.

Bournemouth have reportedly turned down a bid from Norwich City for defender Steve Cook.

The 24-year-old has featured in all four of the Cherries' Premier League games so far this season.

The centre-back has been a regular in Eddie Howe's side since moving from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2012, making 149 appearances and scoring nine goals.

Norwich are thought to be in the market for a new defender, with FC Midtjylland's Erik Sviatchenko linked with a switch to Carrow Road.

According to the Daily Echo, Norwich have made an approach for Cook but this has been dismissed by Bournemouth.

Cook played 46 times last season as Bournemouth won promotion from the Championship.
