Ryan Brunt joins Plymouth Argyle

Ryan Brunt swaps Bristol Rovers for Plymouth Argyle.

Plymouth Argyle have have announced the signing of former Bristol Rovers striker Ryan Brunt, subject to paperwork.

The 21-year-old was released by the Pirates earlier today despite having six months left on his deal at Memorial Stadium.

However, Brunt has now agreed an 18-month contract with John Sheridan's side, who currently sit ninth in League Two.

Brunt joined Bristol from Stoke City in 2013 and scored five goals in 35 appearances for the club, but fell out of favour and recently spent time on loan with York City and Stevenage.
