Celtic to discover Champions League fate tomorrow following Legia Warsaw appeal

Celtic are reportedly expected to learn tomorrow whether they will continue on in the Champions League following Legia Warsaw's appeal against their expulsion.

Celtic are expected to discover their Champions League fate by tomorrow after Legia Warsaw's appeal against their expulsion was heard today.

The Polish outfit launched an appeal against UEFA after they were booted out of the elite tournament due to an administrative error.

Legia fielded an ineligible player during their 6-1 aggregate victory over Celtic in the qualifying round.

According to BBC Sport, Celtic will discover whether their Champions League playoff tie against Maribor still stands on Thursday.

The Scottish champions were handed a 3-0 victory by default following the error made by Legia, who wrote a letter to Celtic requesting a one-off rematch.
