Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are reportedly both growing increasingly confident of securing a deal for Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger.
The Germany international continues to run down the final few months of his deal with the Champions League holders and is seemingly no closer to signing an extension in West London.
Rudiger's supposed £400k weekly salary demands are believed to be presenting a roadblock in negotiations, while clubs abroad are reportedly willing to stump up the centre-back's desired wage.
Bayern and Real Madrid are both being tipped to battle for Rudiger's signature on a free transfer next summer, and ESPN now reports that both sides are optimistic over their chances of landing the former Roma man.
The report adds that Chelsea are not willing to up Rudiger's wage beyond £150k per week, but the 28-year-old is content at the club and happy to stay if his financial demands are met.
Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in Rudiger, who has played the full 90 minutes in seven of Chelsea's eight Premier League games so far this season.
