Inter Milan are reportedly ready to make a fresh approach for Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud.
Despite being linked with a switch to San Siro during the previous two transfer windows, the France international has remained at Stamford Bridge.
However, with the 34-year-old now behind Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham in the pecking order, speculation persists regarding an exit in January.
According to Calciomercato, Inter view Giroud as the ideal addition at the midway point of the campaign as Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his squad.
While Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez remain as first choice in the final third, Conte wants the option of another target man.
Giroud, whose contract at Chelsea expires in 2021, is targeting first-team football ahead of Euro 2020.
