Yannick Bolasie says that Crystal Palace need to secure their spot in the playoffs before thinking about reaching the Premier League.

Yannick Bolasie has warned that Crystal Palace must beat Peterborough United on Saturday before thinking about a potential playoff clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Eagles are fifth in the Championship but can still be caught by Nottingham Forest, who play Leicester City at the City Ground.

"We are desperate to secure this playoff spot, and from there - you never know in football," the Congo international told Sky Sports News.

"We have not given up the Premier League dream yet, we know we are good enough.

"There are no easy games in this league, as we have seen. I know a lot of people are talking about Brighton, but we need to do our job and then we can look at the path to the final."

Bolasie arrived at Selhurst Park from Bristol City in the summer.
