Crystal Palace vs. Southampton: Predicted XI for the Saints in Premier League clash

Return to the XI for Dibling? How Southampton could line up against Palace

Sports Mole looks at how Southampton could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Southampton attacker Tyler Dibling is expected to return to the starting side for Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

The 18-year-old dropped down to the bench against West Ham United on Thursday in what was Ivan Juric's first match in charge of the Saints, who are rock bottom of the Premier League table.

Dibling is set to earn a recall for this contest, though, and the in-demand attacker will be aiming to score his second Premier League goal of the campaign against Oliver Glasner's Palace outfit.

Gavin Bazunu, Ross Stewart, Jack Stephens and Will Smallbone will miss the contest through injury, but Southampton did not suffer any fresh fitness problems in their 1-0 defeat to West Ham.

Paul Onuachu is still waiting for his first goal of the campaign, but the 30-year-old is set to keep his spot in the final third of the field, while there should be another start for Matheus Fernandes in the false nine position.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis has been one of the team's standout performers during a difficult campaign to date, and the 22-year-old will again be a part of a back three for Southampton at Selhurst Park.

Southampton possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Wood-Gordon; Sugawara, Downes, Ugochukwu, Walker-Peters; Dibling, Fernandes, Onuachu
