Former champions Ethiopia make a return to the Africa Cup of Nations this year for the first time since 1982.
A thrilling victory on away goals saw them progress at the expense of Sudan after the two teams had drawn 5-5 on aggregate.
Ethiopia come into the competition with all but two of their 23-man squad currently playing their club football at home.
Many of those players have little experience of international football and merely avoiding three defeats is likely to be considered a successful campaign.
