Everton assistant boss Steve Round feels that his side showed signs of returning to form in their 3-1 win over Oldham Athletic.

Goals from Kevin Mirallas, Leighton Baines and Leon Osman secured the Toffees' place in the sixth round of the FA Cup where they will face Wigan Athletic.

"I thought there were signs tonight that our flow was coming back," Round told the club's official website. "Recently we had lost a little bit of that.

"The way that Steven Pienaar and Leighton Baines, and Kevin Mirallas and Seamus Coleman were linking up – we showed that maybe we are starting to return to some sort of form."

Everton are next in action on Saturday in the Premier League against Reading.
