Everton boss Roberto Martinez has put his side's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City down to a lack of luck in front of goal.
The Toffees had chances to take the lead at Goodison Park but, after failing to take them, they had no reply to goals from Aleksandar Kolarov and Samir Nasri.
Martinez admits to being left feeling disappointed by the loss, which comes just a week after his side put three past Southampton at St Mary's.
"It's a little bit hard to take because I think we had very good moments," the Spaniard is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "If we could get the first goal it would have changed the game. Overall I felt we didn't have that bit of luck you need in the six-yard box."
Everton are now seventh in the Premier League table, having taken four points from their opening three games.
