Robbie Brady has said that Hull City's pre-season training in preparation for the 2014-15 Premier League campaign has been "great".
The winger missed the end of last season with a groin injury, but returned to training early in order to make sure he is ready for the start of the new campaign.
The Republic of Ireland international told the club's website: "Training has been great so far. We had a couple of weeks out here in Portugal before we started back for pre-season.
"I needed to do a bit after missing so much of last season, I felt as though I needed a head start. I got a fair bit of work done then and I felt strong, there were no problems with the groin.
"It was the gaffer's idea to set up a bit of a camp and it was open to whoever felt they wanted or needed to attend. A few of us did it and I'm sure it will stand us in good stead."
Brady scored four goals in 18 appearances for Hull last season.
