Steve Bruce 'offers resignation to Hull City'

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is reportedly in 'make or break talks' with the club over his future.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has offered to resign from his position, according to reports.

The 55-year-old was recently interviewed over the vacant England's manager's post, and made no secret of his desire to be appointed as Roy Hodgson's successor.

However, Sam Allardyce is expected to land the role in the coming days, and numerous reports have now suggested that Bruce has offered to step down as Hull boss.

Speculation has claimed that he underwent 'make or break' talks with the club's hierarchy, with some reports even suggesting that he has already left the club.

The Tigers will return to the Premier League in the 2016-17 season, but shortly after their playoff final victory Bruce insisted that his future at the club was still uncertain.

Last month he penned an open letter to fans confirming that he will stay on at the KC Stadium, but the situation has now changed and he is understood to be on the brink of an exit.
