Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho has refused to rule out a return to Liverpool and the Premier League in the future.

The Brazil international starred over several seasons at Anfield between 2013 and 2018, where he amassed 54 goals in 201 games for the Reds before making the switch to Camp Nou.

Coutinho has not hit his usual heights since arriving in Catalonia, but while the South American has enjoyed a more prominent role in the team under Ronald Koeman, he has insisted that nothing can be ruled out with regards to a potential Premier League return.

Speaking to World Soccer Magazine, Coutinho said: "The Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in the world. Having the opportunity to play for a team like Liverpool will always be something for which I will be grateful.

"It is impossible to say what might or might not happen in the future. But right now my only goal is to be successful with Barcelona."

Coutinho scored Barcelona's third goal in their 4-0 thrashing of Osasuna at the weekend, which was the 28-year-old's fifth goal contribution of the season in all competitions.

The former Liverpool man is under contract at Camp Nou until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Liverpool 'yet to make offer for Perr Schuurs'

Liverpool have allegedly not yet made an offer for Ajax defender Perr Schuurs.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Reds over the last couple of weeks, and a recent report claimed that the Premier League champions had submitted a bid of £27m.

However, according to Voetbal Primeur, Jurgen Klopp's side have only watched the defender this season and are yet to officially approach Ajax over a potential move.

The Netherlands Under-21 international, who has made 13 appearances for his Dutch club this season, has a contract in Amsterdam until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

Schuurs has already faced Liverpool in the Champions League this term and is again expected to line up against the Premier League champions at Anfield on Tuesday night.

The Reds are thought to be keen to bring a new centre-back to the club in January due to the recent injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
