Liverpool could miss out on 6'8" striker Lacina Traore as the Anzhi Makhachkala man is poised to join Juventus, according to a report in The Express.
Liverpool have reportedley held an interest in the Ivory Coast international long before the striker joined the Russian club in 2012.
Despite his transfer, Brendan Rodgers is thought to have kept a close eye on his position at Anzhi.
However, the Liverpool manager's interest could soon prove to be irrelevant with new reports in Russia suggesting that a £12m fee has already been agreed with Juventus for the striker's transfer.
