Fraser Franks leaves Luton Town

Luton Town defender Fraser Franks leaves the League Two club by mutual consent.

Luton Town have terminated the contract of defender Fraser Franks by mutual consent.

The 24-year-old made 34 appearances for the League Two side following his arrival from Welling United in January 2014.

"Everyone at Kenilworth Road would like to thank Fraser for his commitment and endeavour during his stay at Luton Town and would like to wish him all the best in his future career," read a statement on the club's official website.

Franks was released by Chelsea as a teenager before starting his professional career with Brentford in 2008.
