Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry has described his side's 1-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday evening as "a massive three points".
The Premier League champions struggled to break down their opponents at the Etihad Stadium but secured the victory thanks to Carlos Tevez's strike on the hour.
"It's a massive three points. To play three games in seven days is always very tough," Barry told ESPN.
"It wasn't a great performance but the manager said to us at half time to stay calm, and Carlos came up with a great goal."
The win has temporarily lifted City above Manchester United and into second place in the table.
