Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that he is "very satisfied" with his side's 2-0 win over Everton in the Premier League.
Samir Nasri and Aleksandar Kolarov scored at Goodison Park to move the side top of the table, maintaining their 100% start to the season.
"Very satisfied because it was a difficult team. I think we were very confident and solid in the whole game so it was difficult for Everton to create chances," BBC Sport quotes the manager as saying.
"We have different pace with [Raheem] Sterling. It's a very different way to play. It's important to have different things to do during the game. It's important to have a good squad because we play so many games in a season."
City host newly-promoted Watford next weekend.
