Team News: Joe Hart given nod for Newcastle United clash

Joe Hart is selected ahead of Willy Caballero for Manchester City's Premier League opener against Newcastle United.

Alan Pardew has handed Premier League debuts to four of his summer signings for today's meeting with Manchester City.

Jack Colback, Emmanuel Riviere, Remy Cabella and Daryl Janmaat all start at St James' Park, as the Magpies look to get their season off to a winning start.

Meanwhile, Manuel Pellegrini has given the nod to England international Joe Hart between the sticks, with Willy Caballero among the substitutes.

Fernando is given his first start, alongside Yaya Toure, Sami Nasri and David Silva in a strong Citizens midfield.

Sergio Aguero is not fit enough to begin the game, however, having to make due with a spot on the bench.
