How West Ham United could line up against Manchester United

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between West Ham United and Manchester United, Sports Mole looks at how the Hammers could line up in East London.

West Ham United head into Saturday's Premier League showdown with Manchester United having recorded four points from their last two fixtures in the top flight.

The Hammers had suffered four defeats in a row before Andriy Yarmolenko netted twice in the 3-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.

Manuel Pellegrini's team then held Chelsea to a goalless draw last weekend, a result which was followed by the 8-0 demolition of Macclesfield Town in the EFL Cup.

Pellegrini made changes for the clash with the League Two outfit, and here Sports Mole looks at how his side could line up for the game at the London Stadium.

Possible WHU XI vs. MNU

Out: Winston Reid (knee), Andy Carroll (ankle), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Carlos Sanchez (knee), Manuel Lanzini (knee)
Doubtful: Marko Arnautovic (knee), Javier Hernandez (virus)

Pellegrini's main selection concern involves Arnautovic, who has sat out the last two games because of a knee problem sustained against the Toffees.

However, the Austrian international is reported to have made good progress this week and should earn a recall to the starting lineup.

Michail Antonio would likely deputise for Arnautovic should the attacker fail to shake off the injury, with Lucas Perez expected to remain on the bench.

Carlos Sanchez has been ruled out after suffering a knee injury against Macclesfield, with the Colombian joining Jack Wilshere and Manuel Lanzini on the sidelines.

Javier Hernandez may be selected among the replacements for the fixture with his former club if the Mexican has shaken off a virus.
