David Beckham refuses to rule out football management

David Beckham refuses to rule out embarking on a career in management in the future.

Former England international David Beckham has refused to rule out becoming a football manager in the future.

The 41-year-old, who retired from playing in 2013, previously stated that he would not go into coaching and instead launched his own MLS franchise in Miami.

Beckham continues to be involved in that venture, but has now suggested that he may consider a career in management at some stage.

According to The Mirror, while speaking at London's Jewish Community Centre, Beckham said: "So many people have turned round to me and said 'why don't you want to be an England manager in five years, 10 years?'

"That might change at some point in the future. I might wake up one morning and think 'Maybe I could be a good manager'."

Beckham was capped 115 times for England, and in his club career played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
