Marouane Fellaini insists that he will always be a danger to opponents when the ball is played to him in the box, having scored Man United's winner against Arsenal.

Marouane Fellaini has said that he hopes his winning goal against Arsenal has proved a point to his Manchester United doubters.

The Belgium international headed home two minutes into added time to earn the Red Devils a 2-1 victory in Sunday's clash at Old Trafford, shortly after hitting the post with a separate attempt.

Fellaini, a regular target for criticism since arriving at the club during David Moyes's spell in charge, is happy to have made a point after notching his fifth goal of the season in his 26 minutes on the field.

"The manager told me to go to the box if I have the chance to keep the balance in the midfield," he told Sky Sports News. "I know my quality. I can be dangerous if the ball comes in the box. It is good for me and good for the club."

Fellaini is due to see his United contract expire at the end of the campaign, with as many as six clubs reportedly waiting to pounce.
