Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Vitoria de Guimaraes vs. Sporting.

Nacional vs. Porto (Friday, 6.00pm)

Porto must continue to capitalise on the poor form of league leaders Sporting Lisbon when they travel to play Nacional on Friday at Estadio da Madeira in their 17th Primeira Liga game of the season.

The home team are third last in 16th place with 13 points and lost 2-1 against Rio Ave on December 29, while Porto are in second place with 40 points but are level on points with Sporting after their 4-0 victory against Boavista on December 28.

We say: Nacional 0-2 Porto

Porto have been rampant in the league this season, and it is difficult to see how Nacional hold out against the visitors' strong attack.

However, the hosts have at least been competitive at home this term, and they could at times frustrate their opponents, though Porto should undoubtedly come into the clash as favourites.

Guimaraes vs. Sporting Lisbon (Friday, 8.15pm)

Sporting Lisbon will hope to maintain their slim advantage at the top of the Primeira Liga table when they travel to Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques where they will face Vitoria de Guimaraes on Friday.

The hosts have 24 points and are in sixth place following their 2-2 draw with Farense on December 29, while the visitors are first with 40 points but are only ahead of second-placed Porto as a result of their superior head-to-head record.

We say: Vitoria de Guimaraes 1-2 Sporting Lisbon

Vitoria de Guimaraes will no doubt make Friday's clash a competitive affair given they lost their manager to the visitors.

Sporting might have to endure spells of pressure from the hosts, but while their away record in recent weeks has not been particularly strong, Borges's players will come into the match confident after their victory against Benfica.
