Mason Greenwood has revealed that he has been impressed by new Manchester United attacker Amad Diallo.
The Red Devils agreed a deal for Diallo during last summer's transfer window but had to wait until earlier this month to officially complete the 18-year-old's signing from Atalanta BC.
The winger has been training with United's first team since his arrival, and head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested on more than one occasion that the new recruit could soon make his debut.
Greenwood branded his new teammate "a wonderful, technical player" when asked about competition for places in the final third of the field.
"It's good to have rivalries and stuff like that to get into the team. They're all good players. A new player, Amad, that's come in. He's a wonderful, technical player so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him soon," Greenwood told United's official website.
Diallo scored once in five outings for Atalanta before arriving at Old Trafford.
