Arsenal, Manchester United 'interested in Ezequiel Barco'

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly considering an approach for Atlanta United player Ezequiel Barco during the January transfer window.

Atlanta United playmaker Ezequiel Barco has allegedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal and Manchester United.

Having contributed four goals and three assists from 18 outings in the last MLS campaign, the 20-year-old is being linked with a switch to Europe.

According to Record, Sporting Lisbon are considering an offer for the 20-year-old as they assess potential replacements for Bruno Fernandes.

However, the same report claims that Arsenal and United are also monitoring the situation ahead of a possible approach in January.

The Argentina Under-20s international still has three years remaining on his contract at Atlanta.
