Manchester United have reportedly made an opening offer of £35m for West Ham United's Declan Rice.
Last week, it was reported that United were considering a move for Rice as part of a triple swoop in this summer's transfer window.
Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini recently admitted that Rice could be sold at the end of the campaign if the club received a sizeable bid for the 20-year-old.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, United have now made an opening offer of £35m for the midfielder, who only signed a new long-term contract at the London Stadium in December 2018.
Rice has been in outstanding form for West Ham this term and appeared twice for England during the recent international break, having switched his international allegiance from the Republic of Ireland.
Manchester City are also believed to be closely monitoring developments.
