Manchester United are reportedly prepared to battle Liverpool for Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni in 2025.
The 24-year-old has made a solid start to the La Liga campaign for the Spanish and European champions, starting eight matches in the top flight.
Still in the blossoming stages of his career, Tchouameni has already won La Liga, the Champions League, Copa del Rey and the FIFA Club World Cup at Real Madrid.
On top of this, the midfielder also has accolades to boast on the international scene, winning the UEFA Nations League with France in the summer of 2021.
Tchouameni is an important cog in the Los Blancos engine room, providing passes and support for superstars such as Kylian Mbappe in attack.

Man United, Liverpool to battle for Tchouameni?
According to Spanish outlet Todos Fijaches, Real Madrid star Tchouameni could be on his way out of the Bernabeu in the very near future.
The report claims that Manchester United are keen on securing the services of the 24-year-old during either the January or summer transfer window of 2025.
It is understood that the Red Devils are eyeing up midfield reinforcements in the New Year despite the summer arrival of Manuel Ugarte.
As well as Man United, it is believed that Liverpool and Arsenal are also in pursuit of the France international, who could leave Spain after three years.
Los Blancos supposedly value the midfielder at £67m, with Arne Slot's club currently the most likely party to submit an offer during the January window.

Man United's woeful start
Looking to back head coach Erik ten Hag, Man United made a host of high-profile signings during the summer transfer window prior to the 2024-25 term.
In midfield, South American enforcer Ugarte arrived on a last-minute deal from French champions Paris Saint-Germain, aiming to form a partnership with Kobbie Mainoo in the midfield.
Things have not started swimmingly for the Red Devils this term, with a tally of eight points from seven matches leaving them languishing in 14th place in the Premier League standings.
Ugarte was an unused substitute for Ten Hag on Sunday afternoon at Villa Park, where Christian Eriksen partnered Mainoo in the midfield for their side's goalless draw with Aston Villa.
