Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill has described his side's trip to Germany as a "fantastic opportunity".
O'Neill's team will be huge underdogs when they play the world champions in Hannover but while O'Neill recognises the task that awaits his players, he has suggested that he is optimistic of gaining a surprise result.
The 47-year-old told reporters: "We are playing the world champions in a big stadium, it's a fantastic opportunity for all of us."
"We must be disciplined when we don't have the ball and be wary when we do. We'll have to play to another level."
Northern Ireland and Germany met at Euro 2016, with a Mario Gomez goal separating the two sides in Paris.
