Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'I would rather have won but not scored'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says that Paris Saint-Germain deserve credit for drawing with Anderlecht despite being far from their best.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that he would rather Paris Saint-Germain had beaten Anderlecht on Tuesday than score their equalising goal.

The Ligue 1 champions could only stump up a 1-1 draw at Parc des Princes against the Belgians in Group C of the Champions League, and will now have to wait until their next match to seal their place in the knockout stages.

However, Ibrahimovic feels that the players can be happy with their response to falling behind in the match.

"We took a point tonight and that means we have 10 from four games," Ibrahimovic told the club's official website. "We now have two games left to qualify for the last 16.

"I would have preferred to win tonight and not have scored, but it wasn't to be. We didn't produce a great match tonight, but we equalised very quickly and that's something."

PSG now need just a single point when they host Olympiacos in their next game to qualify for the next round.
