Real Madrid are reportedly considering a summer approach for Bayern Munich's Dayot Upamecano.
The centre-back joined the Bundesliga champions from RB Leipzig last July and has made 30 appearances at club level during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring once and providing four assists.
Real Madrid were one of the clubs linked with the 23-year-old last summer, and according to le10sport, Los Blancos are now preparing to reignite their interest ahead of the upcoming market.
The report claims that Carlo Ancelotti is desperate to add another centre-back to his squad this summer and views Upamecano as the ideal acquisition.
The France international penned a five-year contract with Bayern upon his arrival but will allegedly be available for the right price in the upcoming market.
Upamecano played 154 times for Leipzig ahead of a move to Allianz Arena, and a number of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, were linked with his services last summer.
Real Madrid are also allegedly keeping a close eye on Leicester City's James Maddison ahead of a possible move for the English playmaker.
