Real Sociedad defender Mikel Gonzalez has called on his teammates to 'adapt quickly' to life under new manager Eusebio Sacristan.
The former Barcelona B coach is preparing to take charge of his first game with the Basque club after replacing David Moyes at the helm.
Mikel has admitted that changing coach is "an uncomfortable situation", but has said that the team are "all pulling in the same direction".
"We're all pulling in the same direction and with the new coach our job is to adapt to the way he plays and sees football," Mikel told AS.
"We have to adapt as soon as possible, knowing that the party is over and we have to adapt now. Of course, in the end we're in an uncomfortable situation. There's been a change of coach and no one likes that. It's not the ideal situation."
Sociedad, who return to La Liga action this weekend at home to Sevilla, have only won two of their 11 league matches this season.
