Report: Roma considering Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco as next manager

Roma will consider bringing Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco to the club if Rudi Garcia is dismissed from his position as manager, a report claims.

Roma will reportedly consider bringing Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco to the club if Rudi Garcia is dismissed from his position as manager of the Giallorossi.

Last season's Serie A runners-up are currently three points off leaders Inter Milan, but the Roma hierarchy are said to be seeking more consistency from Garcia's side after losing two of their last five games in all competitions, including a 6-1 thumping at the hands of Barcelona in the Champions League.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has asked Di Francesco to refrain from committing to Sassuolo beyond June 2016.

Di Francesco's current side are fifth in Serie A and five points behind Roma, having already beaten the likes of Napoli and Juventus this season.
