Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has claimed that he is driving his players to try to catch Manchester City in second place.
While the North London outfit's main objective at the start of the season was to reach Champions League qualification, Villas-Boas is confident that Spurs can close down the five-point gap separating themselves from the English title winners.
"[City] have the experience of winning the league, I think in their mind they are still focusing on it," Villas-Boas said in a press conference.
"They have to come here [to play us on April 21]. We have to play them still within this margin of five points at White Hart Lane. We could still put a threat to them. Our focus is on bridging gaps for the people in behind us."
Spurs are preparing to take on Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday.
