Hugo Lloris: Son Heung-min will help Tottenham Hotspur go forward'

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris believes that new forward Son Heung-min will "help the team go forward".

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has lavished praised on Son Heung-min for his match-winning goal against Crystal Palace on Sunday, claiming that he will "help the team go forward".

The South Korea international, signed from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, scored his first Premier League goal at White Hart Lane when he bore down on goal and fired straight past Alex McCarthy.

Lloris told Sky Sports News: "I think we deserved the three points. It's a good win because in front of us was a good team. They will trouble other teams because they have real quality.

"I think you can see Son Heung-min is happy here and the influence he has on the game. He has good skills and will help the team to go forward."

Spurs' 1-0 win over Palace puts Mauricio Pochettino's side ninth in the Premier League table.
