Manchester City are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush.
Man City boss Pep Guardiola is seemingly keen to strengthen his squad in the winter transfer window, as they look to limit the damage in a difficult campaign.
The Citizens are sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table after taking 34 points from 20 matches, leaving them two points adrift of the top four and 12 points away from leaders Liverpool.
The Citizens are looking to bolster their backline with the addition of Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov, having seen their defensive options hit by a number of injuries this season.

Man City in 'advanced talks' with Marmoush's representatives
They are also keen to add some extra fire-power in the final third, with Marmoush believed to be their top forward target for the winter transfer window.
A recent report claimed that Man City have already held preliminary discussions with Marmoush's entourage over a potential move.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Man City appear to be making progress in their pursuit, with the club understood to be in 'concrete negotiations' with the player's representatives.
The update claims that those discussions are now at an 'advanced' stage, although Man City are yet to reach a 'full verbal agreement' with the Egypt international.
Marmoush is supposedly open to the prospect of joining the Premier League giants despite being happy at Deutsch Bank Park.

Man City to make formal Marmoush approach?
Man City are willing to offer the attacker a long-term contract which would keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2029 or 2030.
Plettenberg reports that Man City are yet to hold negotiations with Frankfurt over a potential winter transfer for their talismanic forward.
However, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Citizens are preparing to make a formal approach to kick-start talks with the Bundesliga club.
There is a belief that Frankfurt will demand around €50m (£42m) to €60m (£50m) to consider parting ways with a player who is under contract until June 2027.
Marmoush, who has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, is attracting significant interest after developing into a prolific attacker during his time at Frankfurt.
The 25-year-old has racked up 35 goals and 18 assists in 65 competitive appearances since he completed a move from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2023.
