Tottenham Hotspur have been granted planning permission to build a new stadium complex next to White Hart Lane.
Spurs want to move from their current 36,000-capacity base in order to maximise ticket and matchday revenue.
"The club can confirm that the S106 agreement in respect of the Northumberland Development Project has now been completed and planning permissions have been issued," a statement from the club read.
"This enables discussions with the London Borough of Haringey, the Mayor of London and Central Government to continue as we seek to make the development viable and deliverable."
The North London side still haven’t given up hope on becoming the permanent tenants of the Olympic Stadium in East London, however, and they have recently started a legal challenge against West Ham’s winning bid.
Tottenham have called White Hart Lane home since 1899.
