Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly willing to go all out to secure a deal for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

Paris Saint-Germain are allegedly prepared to leave no stone unturned in their bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

Of all the major clubs in European football, PSG have enjoyed the most productive summer this far, signing six players that are expected to immediately command a place in their first-team squad.

While in excess of £100m has been shelled out, some of the talent in question have arrived on free transfers, and the income of Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi is now off PSG's wage bill.

With further sales expected, PSG are in a position where they can press ahead with the signing of a new central forward, potentially as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

The 2018 World Cup winner and his club are currently at loggerheads, Mbappe wanting to depart on a free in 2024 and PSG pushing hard for a sale as soon as possible.

Regardless of how that saga plays out, the Ligue 1 champions will almost certainly secure the services of a new number nine, with several names having already been linked.

PSG are said to be admirers of Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic and Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani, yet it appears that they have set their sights on an alternative.

According to RMC Sport, club officials are focusing their attention on trying to sign Kane.

Although talks are initially said to have been held several weeks ago, it is suggested that the England international remains unconvinced over a transfer to Paris.

Nevertheless, PSG are not willing to give up on their chase of the 29-year-old, who is allegedly valued in the region of £100m despite less than a year remaining on his contract.

Kane is allegedly against penning fresh terms at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while chairman Daniel Levy is not prepared to cash in on his signature for a cut-price fee.

Bayern Munich are known to be interested in Kane and have seen at least two offers rejected by Spurs, yet the report acknowledges that the player's first-choice option remains the Bundesliga champions.

Spurs' all-time leading goalscorer is eager to move to a club that will challenge for silverware on all fronts having so far missed out on a trophy with Spurs.

The report adds that Bayern are prepared to offer Kane a contract worth €12m (£10.3m) per year, a figure that can be trumped by PSG but will not necessarily lead to a change of heart from the player.
