Tottenham 'tempted by Gabriel Jesus, Harry Kane swap'

Tottenham Hotspur may be tempted to part ways with Harry Kane if Manchester City offer £70m plus Gabriel Jesus, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur could supposedly be tempted by a player-plus-cash deal involving Harry Kane and Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

With Spurs ending the season without a piece of silverware for the 13th year running, Kane has reportedly informed the club of his desire to leave in search of trophies.

Daniel Levy is thought to be reluctant to sell to another Premier League club, but Champions League runners-up Man City have emerged as one of the favourites for the England captain's signature.

According to the Daily Star, Tottenham have taken a liking to Jesus and could ultimately part ways with Kane should they get £70m and the Brazilian striker in return.

The report claims that Pep Guardiola would not want to see Jesus leave, but Spurs would likely ask for a sum of £150m if City opted for a cash-only deal.

Jesus struck 14 goals and assisted four more in 43 appearances across all competitions last term, starting 22 of the Citizens' 38 Premier League matches on their way to the title.
