Preview: Everton vs. Stoke City

Sports Mole previews Stoke City's forthcoming visit to Everton.

Everton head into this Saturday's Premier League showdown with Stoke City off the back of a thrilling 3-3 draw with city rivals Liverpool.

Roberto Martinez's side have lost just once in the league all season, and are unbeaten at home, but have drawn their last three matches on the spin.

The seventh-placed Blues have just one new injury concern, with influential left-back Leighton Baines out with a broken toe, which could pave the way for Antolin Alcaraz to make his debut for the club.

Stoke ended a run of eight matches without a win last weekend when they saw off Sunderland 2-0, a result which moved them up to 14th, with three points between them and the bottom three.

Potters manager Mark Hughes was hit with a double injury blow ahead of the trip to Goodison Park, learning that both Robert Huth (knee) and Marko Arnautovic (hamstring) will be sidelined.

However, midfielder Stephen Ireland will be available for selection after overcoming a knee injury.
