Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Championship fixtures, including Sunderland vs. Watford.

Watford will make the long trip to the Stadium of Light for Saturday's lunchtime kickoff against promotion hopefuls Sunderland.

The hosts are sitting in fourth place in the Championship table, while the visitors will head into the weekend in 12th position.

We say: Sunderland 2-1 Watford

Sunderland have proven to be an invincible force on home turf this season, and we think they will make full use of home advantage again to claim a narrow win over a Watford side that have lost each of their last three league matches.

West Brom vs. Sheff Weds (Saturday, 12.30pm)

A key battle in the fight for top-six spots in the Championship table will take place at the Hawthorns on Saturday, as West Bromwich Albion welcome Sheffield Wednesday.

The hosts currently occupy the final playoff place but only lead seventh-placed Middlesbrough on goal difference and their 10th-placed visitors by two points.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Yet to truly get going since Carlos Corberan's departure in December, West Bromwich Albion should find it tough against a competitive Sheffield Wednesday side who have impressed on the road this term, and we anticipate a share of the spoils in this important battle as a result.

Norwich vs. Derby (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Norwich City will be looking to break into the playoff places when they go head-to-head with Derby County in round 31 of the Championship on Saturday.

The Rams, on a run of eight consecutive defeats, head into the weekend seeking to make it four back-to-back victories at Carrow Road and move out of the relegation zone.

We say: Norwich City 2-0 Derby County

Norwich City head into Saturday's clash off the back of securing victories over Swansea and Watford in their last two outings and will be backing themselves to keep the juggernaut rolling against an out-of-sorts Derby County side. The Rams' form is currently nothing to write home about and we see them struggling at Carrow Road once again.

Sheff Utd vs. Portsmouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Sheffield United will be looking to move into the automatic promotion spots when they welcome Portsmouth to Bramall Lane for Saturday's Championship encounter.

The Blades are currently sitting outside the top two on goal difference, while relegation-threatened Pompey are languishing in 20th position.

We say: Sheffield United 3-0 Portsmouth

Sheffield United may have won just one of their last four home league games, but we still believe they will pick up a comfortable victory against a Portsmouth side that have lost each of their previous six league matches.
