Swansea City boss Garry Monk has played down fears over Jefferson Montero's injury, insisting that he should be back in action shortly.
The jet-heeled winger has been one of the Swans' stand-out players so far this season, but a thigh problem kept him out of this evening's 2-1 win over Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium.
"Unfortunately Jeff pulled up in training yesterday," Monk told reporters at full time. "Just a bit of soreness in the quad area. He had a scan, there was nothing clinical so that's good news.
"We'll re-scan him just to make sure in a few days' time, but it was more soreness and tightness. Jeff's a very explosive player, so you've got to be very careful in situations like that.
"We decided it was best that we didn't involve him today and risk him being out for a long period."
Quickfire goals from Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis shortly after the hour mark preserved City's strong start to the campaign after Juan Mata opened the scoring on 48 minutes.
