Valenciennes 0-0 Bordeaux

Bordeaux continue their unbeaten start to their Ligue 1 campaign with a goalless draw at Valenciennes.

Bordeaux have been held to a goalless draw at Valenciennes in Ligue 1, preserving their unbeaten record this season.

The visitors had the first chance of the game on Saturday evening when Benoit Tremoulinas's low drive hit the post.

Cedric Carrasso had to be alert as he was forced to claim Mathieu Dossevi's attempted lob and then kept out his 30-yard free kick.

Rudy Mater then rattled the Bordeaux post for Valenciennes in what was the game's best chance.

Both sides had chances in the second half but failed to make most of them, as the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
